Today was all about the MS Centre for Myelin Repair in Edinburgh, the focus of all that we are doing. After a fantastic ride over the Morefoot Hills we arrived at the Centre around 11am. We were met by Charles ffrench-Constant, Lead Scientist, and Christine Catlin, Head of the MS Society in Scotland. We were also joined by our sister, Gillian, her husband Gary (now also our Head of Transportation) and our niece (Jennifer). We were given a fascinating tour of the state of the art site and heard about the fabulous work being done and the great progress being made. Critically we heard from Charles that with the right funding in place, he believes we are 15 years away from allowing MS Sufferers to be in a position to lead normal lives – a goal that MUST be worth striving for
Thanks once again to all those who have supported us.
Today was truly inspiring and really helped the stiff old legs
