ABOUT ONE MORE HILL 2018-04-10T14:35:51+00:00

2013 marked 30 years since our mum sadly died from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). To honour her memory, we set up a new fund-raising organisation, One More Hill, to raise money for groundbreaking research into potential cures and advanced treatments for this awful condition.

Where do our funds go?

Since 2013, we have developed a strong partnership with the Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. The centre is leading the world in research into repairing the damage to the central nervous system that causes MS. The research is aiming to reduce or even eliminate many of the worst effects of MS on people’s lives and we are incredibly excited to be part of this.

100% of the money we raise goes directly to the team in Edinburgh, led by Professor Charles ffrench-Constant. We are currently wholly funding a PhD student in this area of research, and our aim is to add more students to the team. The research is at a critical stage with some exciting recent breakthroughs so please have a look here for more information.

Like any long journey, working on the prevention of a condition such as MS will have its ups and downs. Our commitment is to keep climbing One More Hill, and with your help, we can conquer MS.
