Darcey Bussell CBE is deemed by many commentators to be one of the greatest ballerinas of the last 100 years. She led a glittering career and her list of achievements is endless. Her final performance was at the Royal Opera House in London on June 8, 2007 with a performance of MacMillan’s “Songs of the Earth”. She was greeted with one of the longest standing ovations the ROH has ever witnessed.
Darcey will host you, and up to 3 guests, in a private tour of the Royal Opera House, the scene of her final ballet. You will visit the rehearsal studios and watch today’s future stars in action. Darcey will then take you through the costume department where so many of her outfits were created. The tour will conclude with you joining Darcey on the stage and hear her tell stories of her life as a ballerina.
This hour long tour will surely be a special treat for someone.
With a huge thank you to Darcey Bussell
