David, Rodger and Martyn enjoyed a full training weekend recently, and the full enormity of the Lands End to John O’Groats challenge really hit home.
Over two days, they cycled over 100 miles, with climbs of over 3000 feet (that’s the height of Ben Nevis!).
Lead by cycling coach, Steve Young, and joined for a day by former pro cyclist Dan Bartley (who kept the pace belting along), they battled freezing temperatures and strong winds. Martyn managed to get himself lost, Rodger needed constant loo breaks (evidence below) and David struggled with the seemingly endless run of Surrey hills. But they all made it!

David, blast from the past here Paul Keenan…met Stevo on Friday and he gave me this contact. My girlfriend was diagnosed with MS about 9 years ago so well impressed by what you guys are doing…keep up the good work.
P.s. I would join you but I cant remember what a bike is now!
Cheers Paul.
